How Your Gift Helps

Every week, HARK refills 13 boxes, each containing almost 100 items, at nurses’ stations throughout the hospital. These art boxes are available 24/7, giving nurses and hospital staff the ability to offer children an outlet to be creative, calm, and inspired — when they need it most.

What’s Inside an Art BOX

Each Box contains

  • 17 Boxes of Crayons, , 5 marker sets, and 5 colored pencil sets

  • 15 coloring books and 3 coloring books for adults

  • 5 Acrylic Paint sets with GOOD brushes and 3 Watercolor sets

  • 16 canvases some empty and some with a drawing to follow

  • 1 sketch pad, 1 water color pad and 2 marker pads

  • Musical items like 3 harmonicas and 3egg shakers

  • 3 Bubbles, 3 Model magic

  • A box of 15 pens for notes and creative writing

  • 3 composition books
