Join HARK
HARK is a non-profit Organization which was created to help fund and support the Expressive Arts Therapy Program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Research is showing that incorporating creative arts, music and expressive therapies in a medical environment can help with physical, mental, and emotional healing. HARK helps to make it possible for these services to be provided.
HARK members work together on fund-raising events, special projects, and art workshops with the patients in the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles clinics and playrooms. However, to volunteer in the hospital you must be 18 +.
What do Members get out of HARK?
Hark members are rewarded many times over from the benefits we are able to provide for these ill children. There is that feel good in your heart feeling, when you know you are making a difference in the life of a very sick child.
In addition we have a great time at our fundraising events. They have been and continue to be, a lot of fun for all involved. Please join us in making a difference.
